Sex, Death and the Endowment Effect
What do you get when you mix Japan’s top contemporary artist Takashi Murakami with MONA’s David Walsh? An epic conversation about what it means to be human, why artists make art, and how collecting is an expression of our cognitive bias…
Along with curator Akiko Miki, we had the pleasure of acting as facilitator and translator for the conversation, which took place earlier this month.
The translation will feature in the catalogue for the Takashi Murakami’s Superflat Collection, From Shōhaku and Rosanjin to Anselm Kiefer exhibition opening at the Yokohama Museum, Japan in January 2016.
